“The Land of Promise” is a continuing project as well as a series of speculative science fiction. Episodes 1/2 were shot in Frankfurt am Main (2021) and episodes 3/4 are currently produced in Vienna (2022).

The project aims to develop a new method of storytelling and to include various issues of contemporary culture as well as technology. It responds to the post-global complex and its political/ economical intervention by the act of creating its fictional narrators who illuminates different forms of utopias and dystopias in the diverse cultural context. 

The idea of a future is not only based on the development of technology, but primarily on the vision of a changed culture. And how its cultural identity could be possibly transformed from individual memories and experience (as human or non-human). The image of this future is meant to be fantastic, but also uncanny; which the past, the present and the future have crushed together in its reproduction, the division of generations and the cybernetic alienation.
